What Contractors Need to Know

Across the TimBuild Group, we stock a comprehensive range of high-quality timber and structural timber for any project no matter the size — from a single DIY project to heavy-duty roof rafters. Our stores stock the right timber and boards for your next project.

A Nationwide Network Built for Contractors

Whether you’re sourcing for one site or several, our nationwide footprint means there’s a TimBuild store stocked and ready to assist you no matter your location. Each store is owner-managed, so you’re dealing with people who know their local market and can move quickly on a contractor-scale order.

Brands You Can Rely On

We’re proud suppliers of established, trusted brands across our timber and board range, including PG Bison boards, Sonae Arauco, and more. Whether you need structural timber, plywood, or decorative board finishes, we stock the ranges contractors already know and love.

PG Bison and Sonae Arauco, In Stock

We stock both the PG Bison range (including Melawood) and Sonae Arauco boards, so you’re not stuck choosing between suppliers or waiting on a special order for a specific finish or substrate.

Planning Tools for Bulk Orders

  • A downloadable cutlist form, so you can plan out your board order in detail before you visit or request delivery.
  • Full plywood and timber product specifications available on our Specs & Downloads page.
  • Colour swatch guides for the PG Bison Melawood, Formica, SupaTexture, SupaGloss, and SupaMatt ranges, plus Sonae Arauco swatches — so you can confirm finishes with your client before ordering.

Cut to Size, If You Need It

If your order needs to arrive ready to install, we offer precision board cutting in-store – plywood, MDF, and melamine cut to size for kitchens, shelving, and furniture projects, so less finishing work is needed on site.

Ordering on Account

For contractors who order regularly, we offer business accounts to make repeat and bulk buying more convenient. Ask at your local TimBuild store about setting one up.
